The ears are wide at the base, withslightly rounded points, and have small tufts of hair on the inner side.
The eyes are round, slightly slit, and may range in color from green to al shades of blue or yellow and even odd-eyed.
Color and texture of coat
The coat is medium long, therefore th aegean cat is considerred a semi-longhaired cat.It is silky, without an undercoat, and has medium full collar and full tail.Since this cat has adapted to the local climate, in winter its full coat protects from the cold weather, while in the summer it sheds and gives the appearence of a short-hair breed except the tail wich remains slightly full. All colors or combinations are accetable, except for color-points,which prove cross-breeding with other races. The Aegean cat spends many hours on daily grooming and its coat acquires a speciak vividness in the light of the Aegean sky , therefore requiring litle special care from us apart from a brisk brushing once a week.
